Adventures

A year of adventure

The outdoor side of ZLAP runs on a calendar. Each month has a focus, and the activities count toward the requirements in the workbook.

A typical month

Four weeks, one theme

Weekly activities follow the same pattern, so youth learn the skill, use it, serve with it and then look back on it.

Week 1A spiritual thought and a skill activity
Week 2A hands-on challenge
Week 3Service, a project or an outdoor activity
Week 4Reflection, a temple trip, a fireside or camp prep
